Vote Crystal Meloche on October 22nd, 2018
Crystal Meloche is a current councillor in the Town of LaSalle running for Deputy Mayor in the upcoming municipal election on October 22nd, 2018.
Crystal is a driven community leader who has demonstrated committment to the residents of LaSalle. She has a record of helping people in their everyday lives, delivering results and a plan to make LaSalle an even better place to live, work and play.
Crystal is a small-business woman self employed as a realtor for over 13 years. She understands the challenges facing small businesses and working families in our community. Crystal and her husband Jeff, are proud to raise their two daughters in the Town of LaSalle.
Currently Crystal serves on several different committee's. She has been a part of the LaSalle Strawberry Festival for 13 years, Strategic Planning committee, Parks and Rec. committee, Chair of the volunteer recognition celebration and Accessibility Advisory committee. Crystal was also a past board member of ERCA, LaSalle Turtle Club and treasurer for Holy Cross School. She was instrumental in bringing a new festival to the Town of LaSalle (LaSalle Craft Beer Festival) and was also instrumental in bringing free outdoor movie nights so residents could enjoy an inexpensive family night close to home.
Crystal believe's the town needs to focus more on recycling and that is why she pushed for paperless council agendas and will continue to work with administration to bring combination garbage/recycle containers in to replace the garbage containers on our street corners and in parks. In 2018 she asked administration to remove all plastic straws from our facilities and replace them with paper straws that will biodegrade in three to six months.
She is passionate about this town and wants to make sure that all interestes are properly represented.
